Over the past few hours I have watched the news with a heavy heart. With the shootings in Fort Hood Texas, and today in Orlando, I have been reflecting on how people process such horrible atrocities. At such times the questions of why and how come are often asked.
When there is confusion and hurt - my mind and heart open up to God. Where is the peace and understanding? My belief understanding and comfort can be found in quiet reflection and prayer. When nothing else makes sense and when the pain is too great – God can be found...
